Qualifications & Requirements: Active Physical Therapy License BLS Certification Acute Care / Hospital / Inpatient experience for 1-2 years EPIC EMR experience

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist: Evaluate patients' physical abilities and medical histories to design personalized treatment plans. ( 8 - 10 patients per day ) Treatment Implementation: Execute tailored therapy programs focusing on mobility, strength, and functional independence. Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess patients' advancements, adapting therapies as necessary for optimal results. Traveler may be floating to different units which include med surge/tele/trauma/neuro. If the traveler has ICU experience, Facility can set up additional orientation for ICU coverage. The hospital has two separate departments for physical therapy: acute and rehab. Employee would not be floating between rehab and acute care, department would be one or the other.
