To ensure that patients, employees, visitors, and guests are served and protected and that all contents and assets of AdventHealth are secured and that potentially harmful, dangerous, or unsafe situations or conditions are anticipated and addressed. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n Assists with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring and assisting the physicians with all cases performed in the cardiac Cath/IR lab. Cases include standard coronary angiography, coronary interventions. EP cases (devices, ablations, loop recorders, LAAO devices, CardioMems), Vascular Cases (TCAR,EVAR, Fistulagrams, Peripheral work), Interventional Radiology cases (Biopsies, drainage, embolization, TIPS). The Technologist is proficient in all aspects of preparation, assessment, scrubbing, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Vascular Interventional and Cardiovascular Services departments and Hospital Administration. Adheres to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. /n /n/n /n Duties and Responsibilities: /n /n/n /n · Facilitates room turn over and set up for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique /n /n/n /n · Provides side by side support to the physician during cases /n /n/n /n · Able to monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system. /n /n/n /n · Assesses and maintains the necessary supplies for the different cases performed and communicates to the lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered. /n /n/n /n · Captures and enters appropriate charges for each case /n /n/n /n · Reconciles billing for historical cases /n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Required /n /n - 1 years of experience Preferred /n /n - Basic EKG interpretation /n /n - Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures /n /n - BCLS - Basic Life Support Required /n /n - ACLS Required /n /n - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required /n /n - IEMA Required /n /n - RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Preferred /n /n - RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Preferred /n /n - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT, Vascular Interventional Preferred /n /n/n /n/n /n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
