Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available at an
elementary school in Elgin, Illinois, for the current school year
on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing individualized
instructional support to students with special needs, fostering
their academic, social, and emotional growth within an inclusive
classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs
of students in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support
staff to create supportive learning environments. Monitor student
progress, maintain accurate records, and adapt instructional
strategies as needed. Utilize specialized teaching techniques and
assistive technologies to support diverse learning styles.
Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions,
and parent conferences. Qualifications: Valid Special Education
teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged
students in a special education setting. Strong knowledge of
special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment
tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Patience,
adaptability, and dedication to student success. Location: Elgin,
