Position Overview:Seeking experienced paraprofessionals to support students in diverse K-12 school settings. These contract roles offer the opportunity to work closely with students requiring specialized assistance in visual impairment, early childhood education, and structured learning environments. Candidates will assist with classroom activities, provide individualized support, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere in Chicago-area schools. Available Opportunities: Para - Visually Impaired, Early Childhood Program (Clarendon Hills, IL) Support students with visual impairments in early learning classrooms Work 35 hours per week Must hold Professional Educator License (PEL) and Paraprofessional Certificate Para - Structured Learning Environment (SLE), Elementary (Downers Grove, IL) Assist in elementary classrooms focused on structured learning Work 35 hours per week Must hold PEL and Paraprofessional Certificate Para - Visually Impaired, High School Classroom (Location within Chicago area) Provide support to visually impaired high school students Bilingual Spanish proficiency required Must hold PEL and Paraprofessional Certificate Qualifications: Current Professional Educator License (PEL) and Paraprofessional Certificate are required Experience working with children in educational or special needs settings preferred Bilingual Spanish skills for the high school visual impairment role Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments Responsibilities: Implement individualized support plans tailored to student needs Assist students with daily classroom activities and learning tasks Support communication between students, teachers, and families Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment Positions need to be filled as soon as possible to ensure continuous support for students throughout the school year.
