Job Description:
The position requires extensive travel in Wisconsin, northern
Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska with a good possibility of all
North America. Will most likely be overnight in hotels 3-4 days per
week. Summary The Field Service Technician installs, inspects and
services company equipment assuring product performance, addresses
and resolves questions and problems regarding products, and
conducts training and service programs in the operation and
maintenance of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and start up company manufactured Automatic
unloading equipment at customer sites according to specifications
and drawings. Monitor erection and installation of equipment to
ensure that company guidelines and tolerances have been met.
Service all company products at customer sites; testing,
troubleshooting and adjusting as needed. Use various gauges,
meters, and electrical testing equipment to check specifications.
Provide technical support to customers over the telephone, and via
Email addressing and resolving questions and problems. Communicate
with appropriate company employees regarding product problems to
facilitate problem resolution. Conduct training and service
programs in the operation and maintenance of equipment for customer
employees. Complete all required records and documentation for
customers and for the company. Determine the acceptance of
equipment installation to activate warranty. Performs other duties
and responsibilities as requested or required. 11. Completes
special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications To

Education and/or Experience Requires high school diploma or general
education degree (GED) and 3 to 5 years of technical experience.
Certifications & Licenses Industry-specific certifications a plus;
must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
