Job Description Job Description Job Title: Packaging Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to join our team. The role involves operating and setting up plastic packaging machinery and flat press machines. You will spend half of your time setting up and adjusting machinery to ensure products meet customer specifications, and the other half operating the machinery to maintain production quality. Responsibilities Set up and adjust plastic packaging machinery to meet specific customer requirements. Operate machinery to ensure products are produced correctly. Ensure machinery is correctly set up to create openings and slits in plastic bags according to specifications. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in setting up and operating machinery. Experience working in a clean room environment following GMP standards. Proficiency with hand tools including tape measures, screwdrivers, and wrenches. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with setting up and operating plastic packaging machinery. Familiarity with using rulers and other measuring tools. Work Environment This position is located in a clean room environment, requiring the use of smocks, hair nets, and glasses. The work schedule is from 5am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays as needed. Employees will be notified in advance of any Saturday work. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.26 - $21.26/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
