Job Description Job Description Precision Assembler The 2nd
shift Precision Assembler will be responsible for disassembling,
cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical seals during the
repair process. Our shop is dynamic, with a steady flow of
challenging work and a customer-focused team committed to
excellence. Hiring immediately! Description Utilize mechanical
aptitude to disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical seals.
Employ hand tools, such as wrenches and mallets, effectively. Read
and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately to assemble seals.
Inspect and verify the quality of finished work using precision
measurement tools. Interpret data from optical flatness reports and
conduct air tests. Enter data to track process steps, parts,
materials, and time. Follow all safety procedures and wear required
personal safety equipment. Communicate clearly with peers and
supervisors regarding jobs and issues. Participate in continuous
improvement team activities to enhance processes. Essential Skills
2 years of general mechanical experience. Ability to read
blueprints and shop drawings. Proficiency in using precision
measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Skill in
using various hand and machine tools. Basic computer aptitude to
learn data entry systems and use Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Urgency for on-time delivery and quality workmanship. Physical
capability to stand for long periods and frequently lift up to 50
lbs. Full range of hand and upper-body motion to work with tools
and parts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position
based out of Woodridge, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range
for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements
apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification
and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
