Advocate Christ Medical Center is a 788-bedpremier teaching institution with a dedicated Neuro ICU.-- With more than 1,500 affiliated physicians, we are one of the major referral hospitals in the Midwest for a number of specialties including, cancer care; cardiovascular services; heart, kidney and lung transplantation; neurosciences; orthopedics; and womens health.----As part of the Advocate Brain & Spine Institute at Christ Medical Center you will join our physicians in providing the highest level of neurological care.-- Using the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, we have the capabilities to treat the most complex stroke cases.--Requirements:--All candidates must be BE/BC in general neurology with fellowship training in vascular neurology. Additionally, physicians will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide cutting edge neurological care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.As part of our team you will:--

• Provide dedicated inpatient stroke coverage
• Participate in telestroke coverage
• Provide out patient follow up in our stroke clinic
• Work with stroke trained nurses and Advanced Practice Providers
• Participate in cutting edge stroke related clinical trials
• Provide stroke education and teaching to rotating medical students and residents
