o Level 1 Trauma Center o Magnet Designation o Comprehensive Stroke
Center o Beds: 749 General Information o Beds: 2 CT Outpatient
rooms; 5 CT Inpatient rooms o Will you accept a traveler with 1
year experience? No, 2 years o Will you accept a first-time
traveler? No Patient Types: o Adults and peds (peds preferred -
usually traumas): stroke, CTA, biopsies (needle, bone marrow),
drains, calcium scoring, cardiac, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest,
extremities, general anatomy o Level 1 Trauma patients Patient
Ratios: o 1:1 Required Certifications: o BLS, ARRT, IEMA (IL
license) Skills required o Required: experience with the above
patient types, level 1 trauma experience, EPIC o Preferred: IV
starts Support on the Unit: o RT: 24/7 o Hospitalist: 24/7 o Code
Blue/Rapid Response Team Charting System: o EPIC - experience
required o Equipment: GE & Phillips Floating: If yes, where? o
Inpatient imaging center o Mid-shift floating is possible
Orientation: (facility and unit) o 1 week of orientation on day
shift to learn the flow Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: Every 3rd
weekend o Schedule comes out every 4 weeks o Holiday Expectations:
coverage required, based on needs o Approval of time off? To go
