Job Description:
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered
is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience,
among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Registered
Nurse - Periop Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL Per Diem
Hours: Hours/shifts vary, 2-3 Saturday on-call shifts per year What
you will do: Renders professional nursing care to provide quality
patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses
patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates
care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent
observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other
staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What you
will need: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart
Association or American Red Cross Associate degree in nursing or
higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start
date) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety
days of start date into position Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
within ninety days of start date into position Preferred :
Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing Previous Periop/Same Day
