Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum years of experience required License: Current state
Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a
participating state in the NLC. Certifications: - American Heart
Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or
an AHA approved equivalent. - American Heart Association Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA
approved equivalent. Must-Have: - Associate's degree in nursing. -
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice as acquired
through education at an accredited School of Nursing. - Clinical
competence and experience in the care and management of target
patient populations specific to area of employment. Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group
of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual
demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily
adult population. This role incorporates essential functions
adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. The
unit specializes in the care of patients with Cardiology,
Cardiothoracic Surgery, Electrophysiology, and Advanced Heart
Failure conditions, utilizing telemetry. The nurse will float as
needed and work every other weekend. Requirements Required for
