Job Description Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel First Assist Technician for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: First Assist Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2560.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n Surg Assistant - Surg Assistant /n/n Job Details: /n • General/Neuro day shift position with variable start times between 5:30 AM - 7:00 AM /n• 2 years of surgical assistant experience required /n• Not recommended for first-time travelers /n• Patient ratio 1:1 /n• BLS certification required /n• Surgical Assistant certification required from NBSTSA, ABSA, or NCCSA /n• Must be proficient in Neuro/ENT procedures including spine surgeries, cranial surgeries, and ENT procedures /n• Must be experienced with orthopedic procedures including fractures, joint replacements, and arthroscopy /n• Must be skilled in general surgery including breast/plastics, vascular, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures /n• Equipment experience required with Hanna Table, Jackson Table, Beach Chair positioning, and various specialty equipment /n• Navigation system experience required with Medtronic, Stryker, and Synaptive systems /n• Cross-training to General Main OR specialty and Urology center required /n• No floating to other hospitals/sites /n• On-call responsibilities include 30-minute response time with 8-week call schedule /n• Weekend call rotation varies by specialty /n• Orientation period of 1-1.5 weeks /n• Charting systems include EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis /n• Surgical scrubs provided by hospital with bouffant requirement for scrub caps /n• Free parking available with shuttle service /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring 636 beds and serving as a Level III Trauma Center with Level III NICU capabilities. The facility maintains Magnet Designation and operates as a Primary Stroke Center. The surgical department includes 21 OR beds with extensive support staff including charge nurses, leads, supervisors, and management.
