About Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital is a nationally recognized 143-licensed-bed acute care teaching hospital located in McHenry, Illinois. Its more than 600 physicians in 70 specialties provide comprehensive medical care. McHenry Hospital is a regional destination for cardiovascular and cancer care. The hospital's physicians and staff provide emergency services, offer inpatient and outpatient care, and specialize in cardiovascular interventions, surgical services, inpatient physical rehabilitation, and obstetrics. The hospital campus is home to the only open-heart surgery program in McHenry County (CMS 3 star program).
