PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent the payroll department by providing great customer service to 500+ employees on all matters relating to payroll and sourcing answers when necessary. Setup and process new hires, position changes and terminations for each corresponding payroll. Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system as needed. Maintain electronic personnel files of all staff pay, benefit and/or allocation changes. Review and audit payroll data each payroll to ensure accuracy of all transactions and to support, as needed the Payroll Team to ensure timely execution of payroll. Interface and meet with human resources on weekly basis to troubleshoot questions and/or issues are they arrive. Interface with HBH managers and, when necessary, HBH employees to ensure all hours worked are entered on timesheets and all timesheets are approved by respective supervisor and employees. Audit benefit bills to ensure new hires and terminations are being processed by the insurance company. Update and reconcile Benefit Spreadsheets each month. Generating Ad Hoc reporting as requested Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations associated with processing payroll. Other duties as assignedQualifications QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL REQUIRED: Required: Associates degree with a minimum of at least one to two (1-2) years preferably in Health Care environment. Must be comfortable working with the LGBTQ community. Experience with Microsoft Office Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to handle a high volume of detailed work while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining accuracy. Preferred: Experience with Paycom preferred but not required. Experience with Blackbaud programs (Financial Edge and Power Plan) preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience working with payroll and/or human resources ADA SPECIFICATIONS (Physical demands that must be met in order to successfully complete the essential functions of the job) Requires ability to speak audibly and listen actively. Requires ability to use computers, telephones and other office equipment. Requires ability to sit for extended periods of time. May require occasional bending and lifting up to 25 pounds. May require periodic travel.
