$90K-$120K Percentage of settlement fees Position Overview We are
seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Rights Attorney to
advocate for individuals whose rights have been violated. The ideal
candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice and a
passion for defending civil liberties. This position involves
representing clients in litigation, appeals, and post-conviction
matters. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in civil rights
litigation cases, including trials and appeals Litigate cases under
ss 1983 and related statutes Conduct legal research and prepare
legal documents, including briefs and motions Advocate for clients
in administrative hearings and court appearances Provide legal
advice and counsel to clients regarding their civil rights
Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to
promote civil rights initiatives Stay informed about changes in
laws and regulations affecting civil rights Qualifications Juris
Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to
practice in Illinois 1 years of experience in civil rights
litigation Prior experience (clerkship, clinic, internship) in
post-conviction, criminal defense, or civil rights litigation
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Experience with
appeals and post-conviction matters is preferred Demonstrated
commitment to civil rights and social justice Benefits Base Salary:
$90K-$120K Percentage of settlements collected Medical, Vision,

work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a
