Performance Foodservice is seeking motivated and dependable Delivery Drivers to join our dynamic team. As a crucial part of our supply chain, our drivers ensure timely and accurate delivery of our extensive range of food and food-related products to diverse customers, from small family-owned establishments to large nationwide chains. This position offers the unique opportunity to directly contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and success of our operations, all while traversing scenic routes and engaging with a wide array of clients. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food products to customers following all traffic regulations. Load and unload delivery vehicles ensuring that all products arrive in perfect condition. Perform essential vehicle maintenance checks at the beginning and end of each shift. Accurately complete delivery paperwork and maintain records as required. Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing and resolving any issues promptly. Adhere to all company safety and quality policies during delivery operations. Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers. Basic math skills for handling invoices and cash transactions. Capable of physical activity including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one upon employment.
