Position Summary: They are seeking an experienced General Manager
with a strong background in steel fabrication and service center
operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of
managing fabrication and production teams, optimizing operational
processes, and driving business growth. This individual will
oversee day-to-day operations, ensure quality standards, manage
budgets, and lead a team to achieve strategic objectives. Key
Responsibilities: Oversee all operations within the steel service
center, including fabrication, production, shipping/receiving, and
inventory management. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and
operational standards. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of
supervisors, production staff, and administrative personnel.
Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize
efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Collaborate with sales
and customer service teams to meet client needs and ensure
exceptional service. Manage budgets, cost control, and capital
expenditures. Analyze operational performance, generate reports,
and implement improvements. Maintain compliance with all local,
state, and federal regulations. Qualifications: 7 years of
experience in steel fabrication, service center, or manufacturing
operations, including supervisory/management experience. Strong
understanding of fabrication processes, material handling, and
production workflows. Proven leadership skills with the ability to
motivate teams and manage multiple priorities. Strong business
acumen, including budget management and operational strategy
development. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and
