Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed Social
Worker is needed to provide essential support services at a high
school in Elgin, IL, covering a leave assignment from April 1
through May 26, 2026. This on-site contract role offers the
opportunity to manage the social work caseload and positively
impact students' academic and emotional well-being. Key
Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to high
school students Address student emotional, behavioral, and social
challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
to develop intervention plans Conduct assessments and provide
crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate documentation and
case records in compliance with district policies Qualifications:
Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Social Work
Proof of degree in Social Work or related field Experience working
as a Social Worker in a high school setting preferred Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
onsite and engage with students and staff Position Details:
Location: High School in Elgin, IL Duration: April 1 to May 26,
2026 (leave coverage) Hours: 35 hours per week Onsite role with no
